J was for Jellybeans...

As part of the home school preschool program we are following, the boys have been making a letter of the week. A is for alligator, e is for elephant, j is for jellybeans, etc. They really love it, and I've been putting each page in a sheet protector and then in a three ring binder to make a book. They just love their ABC books.

Apparently, they love them a little too much. They were reading them during blanket time a few days ago, and when I came back to check on them, they were eating the J page! Yep, they just bit right through the sheet protectors to get to the jelly beans. Yum! I guess we need a new J page. Perhaps some jellybean stickers this time.

Erik enjoying his jellybeans and plastic.

David picking off some jellybeans through the holes he made with his teeth.

Enjoying the "fruits" of his labor.

Their poor J pages.

Too funny! I suspected mine would do the same thing so I just took pictures of each craft when it was finished and once we get to Z I will put the pictures into a photobook from snapfish or something.

Too funny and what a great idea. Do you have a list of what you have done for each letter? My supplies are a little limited here but I know Luke would love this.

Michelle, we get a lot of our ideas for the letters of the week from this blog:

There is also a link to all the weekly activities we do. Click the littest learners button on my blog or the link in this post. :)

That is hilarious and darling, both. I guess nothing will come between the boys and their "treats"!!!
