Christmas Eve

We had such a fun time on Christmas Eve. Steve's dad, Jen, and Jake all came over for a "traditional" Christmas Eve dinner. Well, it's traditional in my family. We had ham and cheese on rolls, dill dip with sweet bread, and grandma spaghetti. Throw in some pumpkin cake and brownies, and you have yourself a delicious Christmas Eve feast. Later Jordan, Carly, and Sam came over to visit and open presents. Sam liked the wrapping more than the gifts. Jordan and Carly also brought over the gift Steve was storing at their house for me. It was too big to hide in our house, and they of course helped out. They even wrapped the gift for us! We love you guys! Now for some cute pictures of some cute babies.

Here are the twins opening their gifts from Sam. They needed a little help from Mommy and Daddy.

Super baby onesies! They look so good!

Here is Sam eating his present before he opened it.

Here is Sam eating his present while he opened it.

Here is Sam eating his present after he opened it. Carly, feed that boy! He must be starving!

He did eventually play with it. What is Jordan taking a picture of?

I put this picture in to make Steve and Jordan laugh. It wasn't that boring, was it Jebs?

Bibs from Grandma

Grandma Nanette sent the twins these cute bibs as an early Christmas present. Aren't they just darling? I think it was Jen (or maybe Angee; one of the aunts) who said they always give me silent nights. Yeah, they do (except last night, weird), but the bibs are still stinkin' cute!
Here are the boys together showing off their bibs. David is left and Erik is right.

Here is baby David. So cute!

And here is baby Erik smiling for Mommy. A rare treat for the camera.

Then I guess they got sick of taking pictures because Erik spit up.

And then David did too. At least they were wearing bibs!

Erik Rolled Over!

Angee and Robby were over visiting, and I put Erik on the floor to show them how good he is at holding his up when he's on his tummy. Well, I set him down and the next thing we know Erik rolled onto his back. He seemed surprised to find himself rolled over and even more startled at Angee and me freaking out. I'm just so proud of him!

Christmas Card

My Christmas cards are finally finished and ready to take to the post office! I'm very happy with how they turned out, and I am even more delighted that I don't have to think about them for a whole year. We wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

I always forget to mention who is who. I (Kristi) am holding baby David, and Steve is holding baby Erik.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Little Whos

At Enrichment last month we had hot chocolate, and they gave us candy canes to stir with. I let David hold mine, and it was so cute that I decided I needed some Christmas pictures of the boys with candy canes. Don't they look just like the little whos down in whoville?

David left, Erik right. That's my foot in the corner. :/

Erik eating his candy cane. Don't worry the plastic is still on.

I think he may be disappointed that he didn't get to actually taste it. Next year Erik, I promise.

Here's David happy to be holding something. Too bad he wouldn't smile for Santa.

David refused to let go of his candy cane when picture time was over. It's his new favorite toy!

Santa

We took the boys to the mall to see Santa. Okay it was really for me and Steve, but we don't think the boys minded too much. It took forever, and I think I could have taken a better picture than they did, but I'm still glad we did it. You can't redo a first Christmas experience like that, and Steve and I are very sentimental. It was also nice to get out of the house and to get some Christmas shopping done. I'm so close to being done I can taste it.

David is on the left, and Erik is on the right. We thought it was funny that David is the one awake in the picture. So different from those first few weeks when David wouldn't open his eyes.

100 Days of Cutie Babies

Today the boys are 100 days old! They are growing up so fast. They are eating and growing and pooping and sleeping and gooing just like babies should. We just love to listen to them goo; they will tell you about goo all day long! I adjusted their schedule recently, and they are now consistently sleeping 8 - 8 1/2 hours at night. They are such great babies! I was a little sad as I packed away all of their 0-3 month clothes. Now they are big boys who wear 3-6 month clothes and size 2 diapers! Well, big is a relative term. I'm just glad I finally got them to smile for some pictures. (Too bad they refused to smile at our professional photo shoot). In all of these pictures David is on the left, and Erik is on the right.

Here they are being cute. I just love how they laugh.

I got them both smiling! It's a little blurry, but they both look too cute.

This is just such a classic pose for them. David smirking and Erik staring.
