Since I'm not a very good journal writer, I've decided to count my blogging as journal keeping. So this post isn't about anything super special or eventful. It's just a collection of pictures and stories that I wanted to remember about my babies. They are now seven months old, and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. They have outgrown their sleepy sacks, so they sleep with a blanket now. I also dropped a feeding, so the boys now sleep from about 8:30pm to 8:00am. It's so nice to have time for just Steve and me in the evenings. Both babies are eating and growing like crazy. They eat pretty much every fruit and veggie I offer them, although they don't care for the jarred meats. They also don't like those baby puffs or any other finger foods we've tried. They don't have any teeth yet, so we'll just hold off another couple weeks and try again. I'm in no hurry for them to grow up any faster. I already miss so many things about them being little babies.
Here are David and Erik playing together. David loves to try to put things in his mouth that don't fit. He would put that whole yellow thing in his tiny baby mouth if he could. And Erik loves to collect toys. Notice the pile. He'll even take things right out of David's hands. Then he smiles his "I'm too cute" smile, and I can't do anything but laugh.
I just like the funny faces they are making in this picture and also happy that I can see both of their faces.
Happy baby David! He's just the happiest baby. Steve calls him a goofball, and I think the name fits. He's always smiling even when nothing funny is happening. The happier he is, the bigger his mouth gets. He even laughs when I open my mouth really big. I guess he thinks that's what people do when things are funny.
David helping Mommy with the laundry. David was having an unusually fussy moment when I needed to switch the laundry. I put him in the basket and piled the clean towels all around him. He didn't really know what to make of it.
"I have a hat!" Steve was putting cups on the boys' heads, and we both thought it looked like a little top hat. Another game that Steve and I enjoyed more than the babies. :)
One day I was feeding David while Erik (who had just finished nursing) was playing on the floor. I gave him some toys to play with and went back to feeding David. A few minutes later I noticed that Erik had the blue ring on his leg. I didn't see him do it, but somehow he got it over his foot. Silly baby!

Very cute and they are growing up fast...just like Sam :)
That's what blogging is all about. Remembering the simple things that happen in your life, so you can look back and smile.
They are growing up so fast! I can't wait until I can meet them...
I'm not good at keeping a journal very well either, so that's why I started blogging. And I love seeing pictures of your boys. I think you're simply amazing for being able to do what you do each day. It makes me tired just thinking about it!
Cute boys!
Too cute. I thought I had my hand full! I'm glad I found your blog, just another way for us to keep in touch. I added you to my blog list. You should check out mine when you get a chance. I have pics of my boys posted.
Thats the only reason I started a blog in the first place, so it can be my journal. And I love all the pictures of your boys, so cute!
Hey Kristi, it's Paige Norton! I've been meaning to get on here and haven't! Could I link your blog to ours (forevernortons.blogspot.com) so that we can stay connected? Arron has your family picture on his headboard where he can see it every night!! Hope all is well!
