David and Erik just keep getting cuter and sweeter as they grow up. They are 17 months old and just buckets of fun!
Erik is starting to talk a lot more. Some of his new words include ball, pig, and bath. He also loves to roar. He has started saying "amen" about 10 seconds before every prayer is finished, and he keeps saying it until the prayer is over. Both boys are getting very good at folding their hands for prayers. They're such good little boys.
David has developed the habit of walking backward into our laps to be read to. The funny part is, he does it from about 2 feet away. :) Both Erik and David continue to love reading. They both can say "mama, book please." Erik says "doo" for book, and David say "jeetch." Strange, but he really means book. They sign please which is really sweet. They love library story hour, and the librarian (who has twins herself) just adores them and always comments on how well-behaved they are. (Yes, I'm bragging just a little). Enjoy some cute pictures because a post wouldn't be the same without them.
Erik giving his teddy (and David's teddy) a hug.
His teddy has been upgraded to blanket status. Note the fingers. :)
David loves to play peek-a-boo in his cabinet. He hides inside with the door shut until you say "Where's David?" Then he pops outs and we reply "Oh, there you are!"
Clearly he loves it.
